Beijing, which means «Northern Capital», is very well served by its Capital International Airport (airport code is PEK). Now Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) has three terminals (T1, T2 and T3) in operation. Transport links to and from the city are equally well covered by either the train (Airport Express) which connects with the metro system or by taxi. It is recommended to only use the taxis from the official airport taxi rank.

Taxi fares from the airport to the area around the CNCC venue average approximately 100 Yuan. Travel time is approximately 40 minutes to cover the 28km distance outside the rush hour.

Taking the train in China is an experience not to be missed. The city has four railway stations, with lines running to almost all provincial capitals, and to all China's major cities.

All the metro signage and announcements on the trains are clearly given in Chinese and English.
