Presentation of Abstracts

1. Abstracts can be accepted either as poster, oral or video communication.
2. Full presentation guidelines will be included in the acceptance letter and posted on the IGCC 2017 website.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
  1. Submitted files are limited to 400 words for abstracts and should be typed in English.
  2. All abstracts must be submitted via the congress website only. Faxed abstracts, emailed abstracts, late abstracts, and abstracts more than 400 words in length will not be accepted.
  3. When you submit an abstract online, please prepare your abstract according to the congress submission format (Template Download). It is the authors’ responsibility to review the submissions and correct them. Please proofread your abstract before completing your submission.
  4. A confirmation of receipt of the abstract will be automatically sent to the registered email account upon their on-line submission.
  5. The reviewers will judge the abstracts according to the relevance to the IGCC 2017, standard of English, objectivity of statements, suitability of methods to aims, conclusions confirmed by objective results, potential clinical value, originality of work and overall impression. In Jan 2017, the presenting and corresponding author will receive an email from abstract@12igcc.com notifying them of their abstract acceptance.
  6. The presenting author is expected to complete the registration. Abstracts will be published in the congress only if the presenting author is registered with full payment by January, 2017.
  7. AudioVisual equipment specifications will be posted then on the website.
  8. If you need to withdraw your abstract, a written statement  reflecting the reasons for this decision must be sent to abstract@12igcc.com

Video Abstract Submission Guidelines
  1. Video submissions must be of good quality. The frame size must be no smaller than 640*480 and the size must be less than 500MB.
  2. The video should not be longer than 8 minutes including the title and spoken narration explaining the objectives of the procedure and the methods used during the procedure. Conclude with the results or purpose of the procedure. And narration must be in English.
  3. Acceptable formats include MPEG, MOV, MP4, AVI and WMV.
  4. Videos may not include advertisement or promotion of products. Commercial support may be noted as a credit at the end of the video.
  5. Please DO NOT includes any music, and video clips or other materials/media copyrighted by any entity other than yourself.
  6. A brief abstract of your video should be submitted on the congress website when submitting your video file.
  7. Please send your video file to abstract@12igcc.com once your abstract has been accepted as video communication. The notification of abstract acceptance will be published on 31 January, 2017.
